Already in our former kitchen there was a kind of kitchen island. It only consisted of a simple piece of wooden furniture. The new kitchen island is now covered with an artificial stone plate (Silestone), which allows a much more hygienic working environment. With three more drawers and three additional kitchen boxes we now have significantly more storage space.
The fact that the new kitchen island is fixed to the floor greatly increases the joy of working in the kitchen.

The division of the space in the kitchen has been achieved in an ideal way.
The kitchen island can now also accommodate the new Berkel Red Line electric slicer. The reduced dimensions of the slicer, the simple operation and the state-of-the-art solutions guarantee a perfect cut every single day.
Thus the kitchen has definitely become a gourmet kitchen.
