10/2017 - The long trip to Saint Lucia
Because of a plane that went off the runway at Hewanorra International Airport, we could only fly away from Newark Airport in the evening. Our flight was delayed again and again.
Result, instead of being in St. Lucia in the evening, it was 2am the following morning.
The people there are used to being late and waiting for us, even the taxi drove to Marigot Bay in the middle of the night.

Night Flight to the Windward Islands
The Windward Island Saint Lucia, is a part of the southern Islands of the Lesser Antilles, withhin the West Indies. Saint Lucia lie south of the Leeward Islands in the eastern Caribbean Sea.
The climate is tropical. The dry season on Saint Lucia is from beginning December to end of May. The temperatures does not fluctuate much between summer and winter.
