The high quality De Buyer pans have convinced us. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find the whole assortment. This led us to buy them directly from the retail store in Faymont. Especially since the way there leads through the wonderful region of the Vosges.

We combined the trip with a side trip to Gérardmer, a center for weaving mills. Well-known houses like "Garnier-Thiebaut" and "Le Jacquard Français" have their weaving mills here. After visiting the weaving mills, our excursion took us to Colmar.

Colmar is a medieval town in the High Rhine department in the northeast of France. Cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages and the early Renaissance are marvellously preserved.
A visit to the "Little Venice" with the covered market hall of Colmar is a must-see. From fresh pastries, to delicious cheese, seasonal vegetables and wonderful meats, you will find everything for the spoiled palate.
