The Marigot Beach Club and Dive Resort, which is only accessible by boat, is situated in the Marigot Bay. The palm-fringed sand beach is just a few steps away. We experienced 28 days of local style living in St Lucia. The Windward Island Saint Lucia, is a part of the southern Islands of the Lesser Antilles, withhin the West Indies. Saint Lucia lie south of the Leeward Islands in the eastern Caribbean Sea.
The climate is tropical. The dry season on Saint Lucia is from beginning December to end of May. The temperatures does not fluctuate much between summer and winter.

Saint Lucia was our "last minute" alternative when the BVI was hit by Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017. We discovered St. Lucia as an island, which in contrast to the BVI has significantly more tropical forests. The humidity is omnipresent.
The picture gallery below shows our impressions of Marigot Bay where we had our hotel. Among other intressting places we visited the Diamond Botanical Gardens, the famous Pitons, the Sulphur Springs, Castries as capital of the island and Pigeon Island.
