Finally I have found a nice and comfortable piece of corduroy in my preferred green color. I can now fulfill the long cherished wish to tailor a nice pair of pants.
I started with this new work in December and needed two weekends to finish it.
The new pants are very velvety and warm. The pattern (Burda) has an extremely good fit and didn't need any adjustments.

For my first winter trousers I have chosen a simple and comfortable pattern. It has a zipper on the left side and wide legs which can easily be combined with boots.
The sewing was no trouble at all so I will soon tackle another pair of pants. Maybe even with a more sophisticated design.
I am not lacking in ideas and of course I will not miss to publish the next realizations.
