Matthias Church
If you visit Budapest, you must have seen this church, "Mátyás Templom". Budapest is full of gothic buildings. But this church has something extraordinary, something fascinating. The church was built by King Istvan in 1015.
In the 15th century it was renovated by King Matthias. The Matthias Church is located on the Buda side, next to the Fishermen's Bastion. A visit to the tower with the viewing platform is definitely worthwhile, even if you have to queue for a while.

Sailing on the Danube with one of the numerous boats passing the Hungarian Parliament Building in the evening is certainly one of the most impressive experiences in Budapest.
The Hungarian Parliament Building is said to be the third largest parliament building in the world.
