Soon it will be summer and the desire arises to sew a new summer dress. For this I had patterns from Vogue and McCall's from the US. Already a while ago I bought the perfect fabric in one of my favorite fabric stores. A light cotton with a fresh green flower motive.
Almost five meters of fabric are needed for the chosen summer wrap dress. Fortunately I have to say, I had the matching fabric already in stock. With the still cool weather outside I have enough time until summer to realize the new project.

As shown in the picture gallery below, this summer dress needs many individual pieces to make the light wrap dress look perfect. The chosen pattern and the light cotton fabric require a flawless work.
To achieve a haute couture look, the seams of the individual pieces have to be coordinated with millimetre precision. The dress is loose fitting in the bust and fastens with hooks and eyes at midriff with forward shoulder seam and neck facing.
